I got this strange letter in my inbox this morning. At first I thought it was spam; I actually had to have my husband look at it to make sure it wasn’t. I watched his face as I handed him my iPad — at first he had a reluctant what-is-so-important-that-you’re-making-me-read-it-before-I’m-fully-awake kind of look, then slowly recognition crept in. It was a quick little note he’d written to me on this day, 3 years ago; I’m sure he was skeptic that it would even work at the time. Lucky for me that it did.
