Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder

The guys put together a tiny tidbit of footage from India — just to show some of the beautiful shots they got while we were there. You can see a bit of Delhi city-life, one of the children’s homes in Chandigarh, a monastery in Leh, and the Ganges riverside in Varanasi. Just a taste of a few of the areas we traveled.

Seeing this actually takes me to places I hadn’t been emotionally while I was there; funny how film and a little music can do that. It’s much easier for me to look retrospectively at these scenes and appreciate the landscape and bustle and noise than when I was there, but I can’t yet explain why; I’ll have to think more about that.
