I am so excited, you guys; this weekend I’m bringing The Cloven Heart to a little pop-up flea market in Gastown. I’m super honored to be one of the twenty-four vendors to take part in this. My friend, Michelle, told me about it last month. I had already missed it, but the photos from the weekend were so gorgeous that I practically stalked the event organizer, Meghan, and begged her for spot. It’s called the Beggar’s Banquet, so I’ll fit right in.

I love a good community event like this. When I was living in California, I would do all sorts of markets from the small community college ones to the mega awesome Rose Bowl flea. I haven’t found much by way of flea markets since we’ve been in Vancouver, but I’ve been known to stake my claim in a few yard sales and clothing swaps. Setting up my own little shop just makes my heart sing — even if it does only consist of a table and a rolling rack. It’s a bit easier than Etsy too, since I don’t have to bother with the listings; just about all of my stock is coming out to play!!

Seriously, come on over and hang out with hubbs and I for a bit, Vancouverites; it’s at 1 E Cordova Street, on the NW corner of Carrall Street.
